Career Counselling

In March 2024, the Darjeeling Welfare Society organised a large-scale free career counselling programme in the Capital Hall, Darjeeling. Spread across two days and three sessions, each counselling session was rigorous and lasted up to 4 hours. It included both group sessions as well as personal counselling. It began with an orientation on career planning followed by an orientation on the assessment which was in turn followed by an assessment of 90 minutes and a post assessment counselling. The programme witnessed proactive participation from fifteen schools from in and around Darjeeling town. The programme was organised in collaboration with the Smile Foundation.
