Computer Distribution to Schools in Need
In February 2024, the Darjeeling Welfare Society team travelled to remote areas around Darjeeling to distribute computer sets to underprivileged schools in the region. This distribution was done in order to ensure that schools in remote areas do not miss out of the advantage and scope of digital learning. The schools also received free internet connection for a year. The computer sets were sponsored by the United States India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF).
