Kalimpong Book Event

The Kalimpong event was organized in collaboration with two local partners from Kalimpong, the India Red Cross Society and the Kalimpong NGO Network. The event was attended by more than 170 guests. The primary objective of the event was to extend assistance to poor and the people in need of Kalimpong region. The beneficiaries were mainly from very remote regions of Kalimpong like Kankebong, Pabung, Samthar, Yok and Primtam villages. Relief articles like Wheel Chairs (4pc), Hearing Aids (20pc), Walking Sticks (15pc), Stretchers (10pc), Sports Set (4 sets), Stationery sets (4 sets), O2 concentrators (2 pc), Shelter Kit (2 pc), and Tarpaulin (10 pc) were distributed. Dignitaries representing various organizations like the Kalimpong Welfare Association, Kalimpong Dukha Niwarak, Army Ex Service Association, among other organizations were present at the event.
